Karen Muller
I have been coaching since 2007. Getting the best out of yourself involves more than just the training. My athletes programs are a balance of training, strength, mobility & recovery sessions. I also help with sports nutrition and getting your head in the right space for being your best. If I cant help I know some excellent specialists that can!

History
I arrived in NZ in 2002 & have been making the most of all the fabulous outdoor activities ever since. In 2007 I left my software job to study Sport Performance & set up my own Endurance Coaching business “Fit For Life” in Christchurch. Now I can spend more time outside sharing my passion!
It all started with trail running then Coast to Coast and multisport racing but that quickly developed into the other activities that make up adventure racing & before I knew it I was participating in Godzone! I enjoy the challenges of coaching, everybody & every event is different. Along with the specific event preparation it has to be the right balance of endurance, strength & mobility. Not forgetting the importance of nutrition which is a fascinating subject with new information coming out as we discover more about our bodies & what we are putting into them! Getting our heads into the right space can also be a challenge at times but with the right tools we can reduce anxiety, race nerves, build confidence and believe in ourselves.
I'm proud to be an ambassador for Further Faster. The right gear can make a difference to how enjoyable your outdoor experience is, especially when there can be 4 seasons in one day. I was so excited the first time I entered the Further Faster store, finally, a shop that had all the gear in one place. I was like a dog with a new bone! Check out their awesome range of gear for humans & dogs. You will be well looked after by the knowledgeable staff.
